Intro
Sofia Vidali is a multicultural soprano with Mexican and Italian heritage from San Diego, California. She is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma in Vocal Performance at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, where she studies under internationally renowned soprano Sandra Lopez and also earned her Master’s in Vocal Performance. Previously, she received her Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance from Chapman University.
This past summer, in collaboration with the Pergolesi Spontini Foundation, Sofia took on the lead role in Baldassare Galuppi’s Il Filosofo di Campagna at the Festival of International Opera Italia in Urbania, Italy. In October, she portrayed Lucy in Menotti’s The Telephone and will soon perform as Pat Nixon in Frost Opera Theater’s Eye on American Opera. This winter, she looks forward to portraying Young Pauline in Wichita, Kansas, with Music On Site Inc.
